Safety First
In the world of high-pressure excavation, safety isn't just a policy — it's our foundation. Every decision we make starts with the question: is this the safest way to do it?
Zero Harm Culture
Our primary goal is zero incidents on every job. Every employee holds Stop Work Authority — if any crew member identifies a potential hazard, they have the authority and responsibility to stop the job immediately.
Certified Operators
All crew members hold current certifications in OSHA safety standards, First Aid, and specialized hydro-excavation safety procedures. Our operators are recertified on a regular schedule to maintain the highest standards.
Equipment Maintenance
Daily multi-point inspections on all trucks and high-pressure systems before every shift. Preventive maintenance schedules ensure mechanical failures cannot put operators or job sites at risk.
Site Assessment
Mandatory pre-job hazard analysis (JHA) and utility verification before any wand touches the ground. No exceptions — every site is assessed and documented before work begins.
COR Certified and Compliant
Xtreme Hydrovac holds Certificate of Recognition (COR) certification and maintains full compliance with all applicable industry regulatory bodies in British Columbia. We carry extensive insurance coverage for all industrial environments.
Our Safety Record
100% safety commitment across all jobs and all sites. We track every near-miss and incident to continuously improve our safety practices and protect our crew and our clients.
